As a service body of Narcotics Anonymous, our primary purpose is to carry the addict who still suffers. The Jurassic Campout fulfils this purpose by creating an atmosphere of recovery in a relaxing setting providing unity, fun and attracts the newcomer. One of the foundations we learn in NA is: “Our common welfare should come first: personal recovery depends on NA Unity” (Tradition 1). The campout allows addicts to connect, build friendships and embrace activities. In order for us to put on a really good event we need volunteers and members to do service.
